The Prodigy Series Portable Ballet Barre was designed with you in mind. The lightweight aluminum design allows for easy transport from place to place. The barre weighs around 11 - 15 pounds(depending on the size chosen) in total so anyone can lift it. The feet are 28" wide for the stability you need. Double barres are each fully adjustable in height from 6" to 46" with a simple adjustment of the composite clamps. This adjustment allows the Prodigy Series to work with people of all ages and heights. The barres are 1.5" in diameter for hands big and small! Freestanding ballet barres are intended for use in keeping balance during ballet exercises. They are not intended to hold one's weight, especially when pushing or pulling against the barre. The barre should not be used as a crutch. Downward weight is OK as that will not push the barre over. In ballet, learning to use a freestanding ballet barre without tipping it over is a benefit, as it helps to improve one's balance and strengthen one's core. High Quality Features!
